Akashvani Pune Recruitment 2026 for Casual News Reader and Translator Post Name

Prasar Bharati under its Regional News Unit (RNU), Akashvani Pune has announced recruitment for Casual News Reader and Translator (Marathi) posts on a casual and on-demand basis. This opportunity is open to graduates who possess strong language proficiency in Marathi along with translation skills. The engagement will be assignment-based, not exceeding 6 assignments per month and 72 assignments per year. The selection process will be conducted through a competitive examination consisting of a written test followed by an interview. Interested candidates must submit their applications offline before the closing date.

2. Fill in the application form carefully with all required personal and educational details.
3. Attach self-attested copies of age proof, educational qualifications, experience certificates (if any), residence proof, and community certificate (if applicable).
4. Attach a Demand Draft of ₹354 (General/OBC) or ₹266 (SC/ST) drawn in favour of “Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Akashvani, Pune – 411005”.
5. Paste one passport-size photograph on the application form and attach one additional photograph for the admit card.
6. If currently employed in Government/Autonomous body, attach No Objection Certificate (NOC).
7. Superscribe the envelope clearly as “Application for Casual News Reader-Translator, RNU, Pune”.
8. Send the completed application via Speed Post, Registered Post, or submit by hand to: Head, Regional News Unit, Akashvani, Shivajinagar, Pune – 411005.
9. Ensure the application reaches the office on or before 25 February 2026.
