MRVC Vacancy 2026 – Apply for 8 Various Posts

Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd., a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has issued a notification inviting applications from experienced officers and staff of Indian Railways for Various Rolling Stock (EMU) Posts on Deputation / Re-employment basis. This recruitment drive is specifically aimed at strengthening MRVC’s EMU (Rolling Stock) division, which plays a key role in planning, execution, and maintenance of suburban railway projects in Mumbai. Eligible serving or retired railway personnel with relevant technical and operational experience in EMU rolling stock systems are encouraged to apply in the prescribed format within 30 days from the date of issue of the notification.

Eligibility Criteria (Post-Wise)

Senior Executive Engineer (SEE) – Rolling Stock
Essential qualification is BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Power Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering from a government-recognized institute. Applicants must be IRSEE Senior Scale officers from Indian Railways with experience in design, bid preparation, testing, operation, and maintenance of EMU rolling stock in Railway, Metro, Suburban Rail, RRTS, LRT, or HSR systems.

Senior Mechanical Engineer (SME) – Rolling Stock
Applicants must be IRSME officers working in Pay Level-11 (GP 6600). A minimum combined experience of 7 years in Pay Level-10 and Level-11 is required. Candidates must have hands-on experience in maintenance of EMU type trains and exposure to tendering and contract management.

Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) – Rolling Stock
Applicants should be working in Level-7 or above as SSE/Electrical with at least 5 years of service for deputation. Essential qualification is BE/B.Tech in relevant engineering disciplines, though diploma holders may also apply (engineering graduates preferred). Experience in EMU rolling stock design, testing, commissioning, and maintenance is mandatory.

Senior Section Engineer (SSE) – Rolling Stock
Candidates must be from Railways on deputation or re-employment basis. BE/B.Tech or Diploma in relevant engineering discipline is required, with preference to engineering graduates. Retired applicants must have at least 2 years’ experience as SSE. Experience in EMU rolling stock systems is essential.

Technician (Electrical)
Applicants must be railway staff or retired personnel applying on deputation or re-employment basis. Essential qualification is Diploma or Graduation in any discipline. Retired candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience as Technician. Applicants should have proven experience in electrical maintenance of EMU rolling stock in Railway or Suburban Rail systems.
