Directorate General of Shipping Recruitment 2026 for Shipping Master & Director Posts

The Directorate General of Shipping, functioning under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, has invited applications for the post of Shipping Master & Director through transfer on deputation. The vacancies are available at key maritime hubs including Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata, within the Government Shipping Office / Seamen’s Employment Office. This recruitment is open to eligible officers serving in Central/State Government departments or autonomous/statutory bodies with experience in administrative supervision.
