Konkan Railway Recruitment 2026 for Cook Post

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), under the Ministry of Railways, has announced recruitment for Cook post on a fixed-term contract basis under Employment Notification No. CO/P-R/15C/2026. The vacancy is for KRCL project requirements and carries an initial contractual tenure of two years. Candidates should have passed at least Class 7 and possess a minimum of two years of cooking experience in a restaurant, household, rest house, dhaba or food establishment. Applicants should be capable of managing a kitchen for up to 10 persons and preparing different varieties of food. The monthly remuneration ranges from ₹25,700 to ₹29,300 depending on the classification of the project location. Selection will take place through a walk-in interview on 8 September 2026 at Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

2. Open Employment Notification No. CO/P-R/15C/2026 and download Annexure-A.
3. Fill in the prescribed application form completely and accurately.
4. Keep the original educational, age and experience certificates ready along with one set of self-attested photocopies.
5. Carry two recent passport-size photographs and other documents prescribed in the notification.
6. Report at the walk-in venue between 9:00 AM and 12:00 noon on 8 September 2026.
7. The interview will be conducted at Hotel-The Shanti Naturecure on Ganga, 244/14, AIIMS Road, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand – 249201.
8. Submit the completed application at the venue and participate in the selection process.
